Third time for the friends on wheels program.

The purpose of the program is to allow a glimpse of other museum activities and to receive inspiration from other members of the community, to make museums accessible in the periphery and to learn about their activities through the museum leaders, managers and chief curators.

On Sunday 10.09.23 we will arrive at Kibbutz Bar’am and Kibbutz Holami Hagatut

10:00-10:30 Arrival at Bar David Museum and gathering

12:00-10:30 Meeting with Avi Ifergan, director and curator of the Bar David Museum. A tour of the museum exhibits, the Judaica collection, the Tomarkin sculpture garden and a tour of the ancient synagogue.

13:00-14:00 lunch *

14:00-16:00 Meeting with Roni Ben Dor director of the Kupferman Collection House and a tour of Kobi Siboni’s studio.

A visit to the artist’s studio, which has been preserved as it was in his life, a viewing of a short film, a visit to a joint exhibition of Kupferman and Yona Fischer and two other exhibitions on display.

A meeting with the artist Kobi Siboni, the creator of iron wires, in which he will talk about the works, the creation, sources of inspiration, the relationship between design and art, and more.

* Lunch must be provided. For those interested in the kibbutz, there is the “Hazlala” with a meat and dairy menu at affordable prices, with every purchase a half-liter bottle of water as a gift. and a dairy “NOKI” cafe.
